Cup and a half is a free service that makes it possible for you to keep an online cookbook where all your recipes are in one place, well organized and always accessible.

  • Simple, useful, and elegant workarea. Ease of use is at the heart of the design of Cup and a half. Entering, viewing, modifying a recipe is a matter of seconds.
  • Categorized cookbook. Six categories and five subcategories are created by default when you first register. You are given complete freedom to create new categories and subcategories, rename or delete existing ones, and change the order in which they are displayed in your cookbook.
  • Personal search engine. Your cookbook is always indexed and ready for you to search for recipes that contain certain keywords (e.g., butter, green peppers) in some or all fields (e.g., ingredients, directions) and in some or all categories.
  • Flexible recipe layout. Enter as much or as little information as you think is necessary for each recipe. You can modify and update your recipes at any time.
  • Built-in cooking measure calculator (temperature, volume, weight, length). Quickly convert from Celsius to Fahrenheit, from cups or tablespoons to mililiters, from ounces to grams, or from inches to centimeters. Unsual measures are available too (e.g., dash, pinch, barleycorn) as well as a collection of international measures.
